How long should I arrive before my race starts?

We ask everyone to register an hour before their race begins so you have plenty of time to familiarise yourself with our fantastic site, have your warm up and safety briefing before the race starts.

Where do I need to go when I arrive?

Head straight to CCC HQ to register. There’ll be clear signs marking the way.

Will there be a bag drop?

Yes, there will be a bag drop at Camelot HQ for a fee of £1.

What should I wear?

Technical tops and running bottoms made of sports fabrics; though please bear in mind that if you choose to wear shorts this may result in grazed and cut knees, similarly if you wear t-shirts expect your arms to get grazed and cut too.

Trainers (Please make sure your laces are tied tightly as they will get sucked off in the mud).

NO SPIKES OR STUDDED SHOES! IF YOU WEAR THESE YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RUN.

What should I bring?

A big towel
Clothes and footwear to get changed into after the challenge. (A changing marquee is available for your use)
2 bin bags (one for your dirty clothing and trainers and one to double bag it)

Will there be water provided on the course?

There will be water stations along our 5k and 10k challenges, and water will be provided at the finish line.

Will there be emergency services on site?

Yes, there will be a medical team on site all day to provide medical assistance if needed.

What are the courses like?

There are 2 courses:

5km

10km

There will be lots of crawling on your hands and knees and climbing up river banks and cargo netting. We have lots of obstacles so if you are not sure that you can tackle an obstacle please walk around and go on to the next one.

What age do you have to be to enter the events?

The minimum age for the 5km and 10km is 8. Please note that anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

Who is Camelot Colour Challenge for?

Anyone who wants to have fun, CCC is a challenge that will put a smile on everyone’s face.

Are spectators welcome?

Absolutely. Friends, family and children can come along and watch. Dogs are also welcome provided they are on a lead.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Yes parking is £5 per car, please bring cash on the day.

Can I get a refund?

No refunds are given. You can defer your place to one of the next two Camelot Events in the calendar for a fee of £10 – you can only defer once.
